Build Sheets

  The build sheets were used for scheduling parts and in sub assembly areas. Motor, transmission, rear end, door pads, carpet, seats and many more. This was so when the operator picked up the part he would look, to see that the sequence number matched the vehicle. Man there were some screw ups at times. It looked like a three ring circus to get it straightened out. When the operator was finished with the build sheet, They were simply thrown in the garbage. Some stayed with the vehicle. gas tanks, bottoms or backs of seat,and under carpets. Now don't go taking you car apart to find it. Because it varied from one assembly plant to another. How do I know this? I threw thousands of them away for 30yrs at GM. I wish I only had two 1 for my 73 and 1 for my77

Anthony... I learned witht eh tea so long ago, I was in 4th grade when we we're recreating 'columbuses new world documents'. L00L. Plus, me and you think a like, I was planing on doing that too.... l00l, how weird.
