It will physically bolt in with no problems. As you mention, the front accessory brackets will be different, and will the exhaust.
You'll want to upgrade the front springs for sure, and possibly the rear. All big block cars had rear sway bars, so if your car doesn't have one, you should seriously consider adding one. You'll also want to consider a radiator change to one with more cores, or an aftermarket type that is more efficient. Keeping a big block from blowing its cool is prolly the biggest problem faced with a Shark era car. Thumbs Up

Had a couple of decent days (over 40) - which I tried to take advantage of.  Still dis-assembling, but starting out slowly.  I expect to get rolling strong once it gets warmer.  I did roll the frame out to power wash it and get some detail pics to help with reassembly somewhere down the road.

Is that a Mallory duel point distributor in that engine? Tongue

Will probably let it go with the 355 I pulled out, if I end up selling it.  Waiting for it to warm up enough here to power wash without freeeeezing.  So tired of this.  I'm sure you don't have that problem in Texas!!!  BTW - some of my wife's family live in Duncanville - small world.  Still only 35 degrees in the pic I took last night after removing the tank and exhaust!

Bbrrrrr! That's just too cold. It was a balmy 80 deg here yesterday, and got down into the high 40's overnight. Weather here changes by the minute, tho. Have a possibility of tornaders coming thru this evening!

Bet you'll be glad to get that thing back together and driving! Tongue

Over 60 today - got a lot done after work.  All brake and fuel lines removed.  All four calipers removed as well as e-brake cables.  Nice to feel like I'm making progress.  Talked to one of my co-workers today about possibly dipping my frame in our acid tank used for cleaning coils of wire plus running it through our phos tank (transation: save a few bucks).
