Let the fun begin!  Fortunately the frame appears to be in excellent condition.

Please tell us this didn't start out as...hmmm, maybe I should do the brakes.

Looks too daunting for me, good luck and have fun.

Thought seriously about a complete restoration.  Unfortunately, the motor, while the correct size, is apparently not the original block as the serial number does not match.  Everything else is original according to the numbers, so I'm really trying to decide where to go with the entire project.  I can keep it all original except for the motor, or change everything (colors and all).  As I currently see it, while I'm working on the frame & suspension, I have plenty of time to decide before tackling the body and interior.  Probably gonna end up somewhere in between.  Thought I'd throw in another couple of pics (day of purchase, body, & frame).  Been too cold (even with a heater) in the garage here in Northern Indiana to do much the last several days.

dads2vette.  It's actually worse than that.  I went to the ACD auction just to waste a few hours and look around.  Boy was my wife surprised when I brought this home!!!  LOL (sort of)!!Censored

Likely change of plans.  First, the small block is not the orignal engine, but the car is an L82.  Just so happens that an early 70's 454 sort of fell into my lap - it is in good running condition and the price is ridiculously low (from a friend).  Pretty good chance that the L82 is gonna become a big block car - after some upgrades to the engine.  Everything I've researched says that this is practically a bolt in - other than the front brackets for the A/C, alternator, etc.(?).  Anybody have any advise or thoughts?  Wanna make sure I'm not being naive or silly.  Thanks.
