Guess I better ask for 4 ramps for Christmas.
I can use them right now. I used to have a pair of home made ones (2x12's and 2x4's), but I think I gave them to my son. They are too steep for the Vette, but the jack and place method would work.

Sorry Dave. I pulled out the joke I made. My conscience got the best of me. It really wasn't funny.

Hello, I have had the front end up on ramps..and a little more room would be great. Sounds like I will do the 2X10 Idea...got a couple extra ones in the cellar ready to work. I thought that it would be a good irea to "hang" the suspension while keeping the car jacked up by the frame....Thought that would allow the suspension to stretch back out a little if it was a bit sagged., Thanks again E.M.

If those blocks are cement, they are OK, but do not use cinder blocks!!! They can break very easy. The best thing to use is a good set of jack stands, you can get ones that go high. I would not let the wheels hang free. If you're not going to work on it, just leave it on the floor.
Good luck,
Dave
