Vette(s): 1979, 350sb, as my kids affectionately call it "shit brown" Corvette purchased in 1996. 84,000+ miles. Not a show car, but I love her just the same.

I bought new rims for mine this past winter.  Getting ready to put a new finish on them once I'm done with all the fixer-upper things I have to do on the new house and pole barn.

Then I think it's time to tackle the interior!

I've never been a fan of pinstripes on a Vette myself, but others think it's cool, and I suppose if it were original and really tastefully done, I might like it too.

Sidepipes and wheels are about the best visual mods I can think of that will grab people's attention right away.

Oh, yeah, then there's a new L-88 hood with the big crest.  Always a favorite of mine!

Vette(s): 1980 Corvette L-48 automatic all original with 129,000 Kilometres(77000. Miles) Dark claret exterior, Dark claret interior

Hmmmmmmmmmmm.......... so many ideas so little money ....hahaha

I'am really leaning toward rims and tires and maybe just a little stripe on the hood scoop in gold, just before I put it away for the winter I put on chrome exhaust tips and I think they look pretty cool..........but I will take a picture and see what you guys think.

I love those 17" Boyd smoothies on Tumarrs 79 if you don't mind me asking............... what were they worth? or you don't have to say if you don't want to...................

and thank you KeBo I kinda like the Claret too actually I like any Corvette in any colour...........

Joe

This is the exact wheel and were I got them, They fluctuate in price depending on the season I guess. last i checked they were $275 and now they are alot cheaper than that. here they are Discount tires boyds. oh and they got a great charge card that they let me buy the wheels with. Not very high interest. In case you dont have the cash up front. Its been a little less than a year now since I bought em but I almost have them fully paid off with monthly payments.Tumarr38440.4860763889

you will need a 255/50/r17 tire for the wheels. I bought BFG's and they are fantastic tires! here are my tires:BFG'sTumarr38440.4902777778
