Attention: Charlotte NC / need assistance

I am looking at a 1979 yellow Corvette in Charlotte. Anyone in the Charlotte area interested in go to look at for me and giving me an unbiased and critical assessment of the car before I decide whether or not to move forward with the negotiations???? Car is owned by a C3VR member "CitrusPilot".

Thanks to LakotasRose and "Hubby" for checking out a yellow 79 for me in Charlotte. Jim checked it out and it passed muster. So I wired the money today and I'm flying out with my preteen son on 9/3 to pick it up on 9/4. My 11 year old and I are going to have the male bonding ritual "the talk" on the way back to Amarillo. Any advice. I may be too late but I really think most of his innocense is still intact so maybe I still have the opportunity to have more influence than his peer group.

Debbie, I will be leaving out of Charlotte first thing Saturday morning. Breakfast, brunch or Lunch? Let me know your availability and I'll try to keep you informed of my itinerary.

Your son will definitely ''git off lika big yaller dawg'' on the drive home with you. Jimmie's son is 13 and he just loves going with us in either the '79 or the '94. Most times he splits it up.Rides with Dad to ''wherever'' and then rides home with me.

Sorry we won't be in town that weekend..will be up in Bowling Green Ky at the NCM celebration.

I was just talking to some of the local Vetters who are going up for the NCM party. I'm thinking stopping off in BG would be the thing to do. Get a few pics and meet a few folks before continuing the drive back to Texas. Debbie, maybe I'll see you there? You're 79 should be easy to spot if it is making the trip.
