Vette(s): Silver 1974 Convertible - L82 4 speed Low miles (was only 8,900 when I bought it in March 2006) - Now 54K miles. Original owner bought it as an investment for son's college expenses. 2008 Jetstream Blue Convertible
I was browsing e-bay and saw this.  I thought it would be of interest to anyone with a factory original 8-track player.  I've never seen this before - and the starting price is right!

I have the original, GM issued '74 version...got it for .99 too! Don't remember who all is on it off-hand, tho, but it looks kewl as a display item, even tho the 8-track wasn't available from the factory. One could be installed as a dealer item.

I have about 200 8 tracks in various stages of working order. Even a repair kit I made, and several players, 2 auto and 2 home style. I wonder if there is a market for this stuff ? It would be nice if they would equate to some vette parts $.Big%20smile

eBay is the 8-Track grave yard Big%20smile I did a search for "New 8-Track Tape" and came up with like 700 hits.  Bought 3 bran new 8-Tracks for my player.  That is a cool find, if I don't see one with the original music on it I may bid on that one, thanks for sharing.

No problem Mark.  I seemed to remember that you had an 8-track in the PC.  Thought you might like it.

Too bad the original music isn't on it.
But the display would be nice.
