Vette(s): Frederick County Corvette Club (Maryland) Tan 64 365 Hp Conv 4 sp Red 72 4 sp Conv ..running a '68 327 Blue 76 Coupe L 48 4 sp White 79 Coupe L 82 auto Silver 98 Conv, 6 sp 35th Anniv '88 vette

Yep...the mounting is kink of clunky....especially the rear ...which goes way beyond clunky.... But mine do not leak ...and I have never lost one
driving ...even at triple digit speed...

The major advantage is that they can be installed on both my 76 and 79 which the factory tops can not be interchanged without some slight modifications ...

Cost is a factor also.... $300 (?) vs almost a $1,000

I run Moon Roofs on my 76...and Astro tops on my 79...But  it has been years since I removed them ... almost like haveing a fixed roof
on the cars.... same with my 95 (both tops glass & solid)  the tops just are never removed..
