Is this a book/manual good to add to my collection? I have the Factory Service Manual, AIM and several 68-82 repair/maintenance books. This one though is normally high priced. If it is worth getting, it will be got.
Thanks!

It is what the dealer parts departments used before computers. It has blow up illustrations of all parts, and original part numbers (some of which have been superseded). If you need odd parts, or are doing a complete restoration, it might be worth it, otherwise not. We have a set, and only use them occasionally.

I have that on disc....covers from '53-'82. I also have the factory parts/illustration book for the '84-2001 model Corvettes on disc.
As Larry says, it's not something you'll use every day, BUT...the illustrations do come in handy at times, or when trying to identify a part. It's a bit hard to decipher if you don't know the "system" of numbering for GM stuff. I've got that info somewhere around here, but I can usually find what I'm looking for without it.
I'd say if the price was reasonable, get it...some-one else will pay ya more for it later!

Agree with LArry and Joel...It does come in handy...but not a coffee table book.

T
Phil,
I have it on disc also. It is especially helpful when trying to verify if NOS parts on E-Bay are applicable to your year car.
