That's why I want to get a Kwiklift. Give plenty of room to work under the car but doesn't get it too high off the ground. I would be uneasy storing something under any lift

My township basically limited me to an 8 foot ceiling in the garage so I had the builder modify one of the trusses and I plan on getting a scissors lift from Eagle supplies that will go up 6 feet. If I can not get the car all the way up, I will probably make a stool or modify a store bought with castors to sit on and roll around under the lift. Eagle tells me the lift is designed to be free standing ( not bolted down ) and has multiple locking points. I looked at a couple of the lifts that don't go up over 3 feet and I am in full agreement with 4Webbers, way to old to be "creeping it" anymore.

Dogma,
On-tool was a good suggestion. I'm more confused after looking at the 5-million different varieties they offer . . . but I did get a kick out of messing around on theri site. THX!

Yah know, if it really takes up too much space I do have an extra bay in my garage, heck I'd even transport it down here for you!! =)

NO WAY . . .

You can have the kids, the skateboards, the bikes, the garden tools & the trash cans -- not the vette! |rollysmile|

Since I haven't laid cement yet I was actually toying with the idea of digging a pit that I could get into. That would be an ideal setup!!!

I guess you could create a "James Bond" hidden garage by going down. Just imagine . . . push a button & the floor opens up to let a lift blast your vette up to ground level. -- pretty cool. |rollysmile|
