Anyone out there ever deal with fastcorvette.com? They seem to have some pretty good deals on brakes. I would like to know if anyone has had any good or bad dealings with them.
Thanks, Rick |wavey|

Well, I never heard from anyone so I went out on a limb and ordered a set of calipers. They included SS lined lifetime guaranteed calipers, premium bonded semi-metallic pads, and 4 rubber brake hoses. No core or shipping charges, but they will give you $30 per caliper if you put your old rebuildable calipers back in the box and send them in at their cost. The total cost was only $412. The company was very customer friendly and they shipped quickly. I am in the middle of installing the calipers as well as suspension system right now. Will update later if there are any problems with the calipers.

Believe it or not, AutoZone has SS calipers for my vette in stock. $61.00 for each front about the same but a few dollars off for each rear. Thats exchange price. Lifetime warranty

I also bought calipers from Auto Zone, they actually had them in stock, also from the zone, correct casting# master cyl (in stock) and a windshield wiper motor. all of these much cheaper than a specialty vendor.
Another source, even for the older cars, your local Chevy dealer, It's always worth a call or visit. The specialty vendors buy from GM and sell to us at a profit.

Vette(s): 1972 coupe/350 cid/mild cam/4 spd/20 ft. paint (looks perfect from 20 ft.), but it sure runs nice.

Thanks for the great tip, Gents!!
