Steve, Corvette Summer was a cheesy movie about a bunch of high school kids who do a WILD modification on a Vette.  Most people don't care for the final look of it, but that car is one of a kind, thats for sure.  Now the car is sitting in at Mike's Yager's Garage at Mid America Motor Works.  easy movie to find if you want to watch it.

Mine, I've left as LHD so it drives as it was originally built to.
Is there a difference in the way that a car handles left to right hand drive? I have often thought of contacting one of those companies that do the conversions in OZ and picking up a kit type set up for my Red Vette, just the finishing touch to me.

No real difference, it just gives the car a better feel when driving on the left of the road rather than the right as in the US.  I always carry a co-driver when out on the highway just so I've got someone to see if anything's coming when I want to overtake.  I don't like putting the whole car out in front of traffic.  Hardest part is learning to change gears with the opposite hand.

Ahh, what i never thought of.  Now i have to go and buy a postal Jeep, see just how much i would need to consider that.   I mostly have someone with me, but often its preteen kids, all the ones in the neighborhood love that car!

Thank you so much for responding, saving me alot of regret later. d.

Hey dnv and Joel,   Thanks for the pictures of the summer corvette.  I never saw the movie or the car.  Looks like a nice car and the conversion looks real good.

Is this the car that has the bicycle chain to the steering box???

Thanks again......steve
