Bob,
Thanks for the link on the radio. Just picked up the car last summer and got a few other things to deal with on her first. Back window leaks. (Place I got it from had it outside and back carpets were soaked after I got it home). Also dies after 30 -40 minutes of driving and needs a 1/2 hour rest before starting again. And some of the black paint was redone before and not very good so I would like to get that taken care of. Can't do a total repaint now, too much $$.
Doe's that CB radio on craigslist look the same as yours? I want to make sure I get the right one for the year when i do.

Jeffm - From the picture it looks identical to my radio. I certainly understand about setting repair verus 'nice to have" priorities, as mine needs carpet, pinstriping and some paint work. If I hit the lottery
, it was all be done by June! but back to reality, this will be a work in progess for sometime.

Eddie, My wife's patience is running thin with me as I also own a mint 72 cutlass convertible. She has no desire to drive that car, but insists on driving the Vette. It was a condition of the purchase! She drives a hard bargin but its worth it
Paul, Thanks again for your support, pleasure spreaking with you.
BWT, has anyone hear of or used Corvette Paramedics in Mount Holly, NJ? I heard they have a good rep

Corvette Paramedics is hot and cold from my experience. I use them once in a while out of necessity, but they tend to be more about the $ than the hobby - don't call to ask a question unless you're ordering something...

Awww, that's a shame. I've seen their ads in vette mags and always had high hopes for 'em. I spent several years as a child living in Mt.Holly, NJ.......... AHHH the memories.
