Vette(s): 1982 C3 Collectors Edition 44000 miles, sat in the sun most of its life, My wife purchased it for me for Father's Day in 2007 from her girlfriend that had it for 19 years. It is on the road again. I'm retired but it is now my daily driver.
The thing is I will have that much into my 82 CE by the time it get referbed. Wonder if the wife would let me sell mine and go for it. Na I'm to old for all that HP. I would just get in trouble.
Breaker - breaker, come on back!
Interesting ride. Those certainly are some flame throwers/torpedo launchers sticking out the rear - those would definitely have to go. Something other than the stripes and graphics would look better on the side IMO.
I wonder if the exhaust plates are to control the amount of turbo boost........if that makes any sense.

That is one killer ride - can u say lost driving rights for life. Honey I don't want to drive - I just want to own it (ya right). It would great with cromie side pipes. Don't mind the grafics, but the color takes some getting used to. That is one ponie hunter.

A one of a kinder for sure. I like the whole package for what it is (graphics?)

I'd just like to sit in it and burp the pedal a few times to listen to it, yeah and maybe take it for a burn. The Glen ruined me
Thanks for the post!

ebo, I've been watchin' these guys auctions for a while now (saved as favorite seller) and they have had some awsome cars. Were you talking about the orange T/A or the Pace Car? I love the Orange 73 T/A but this car is just down right a Piece of Art

Mark, at the bottom of the page there is a red HD 455?
Being "Car Guy's" as we are, I was just thinking of a great Charity idea......
Jay Leno or a guy like the one with this car should have "Drive my Rides" contest.
Pay like $25bucks and have like 12 winners and let them go in and drive like 10 vehicles of their choice on a layed out course some where. So we would be controled...lol.
ARRGGGHHH...................Now Dats wat I'm talkin bout!

You know, I'm not much of a Ford guy but this car 1970 Mustang 428 Cobra-Jet just does something for me with that Shaker Hood and all. Look at the whole car. The engines and right down to the suspensions make some of these cars look like they came off the showroom floor.

I like it. I absolutely love turbo power having done a couple of conversions. I'd be interested to know some history on this c3. Its a throwback to the heyday of engineers like Gale Banks, Corky Bell, Hugh MacInnes who were at the forefront of turbocharger R&D.

Vette(s): Sold my Vette, living life in a tiny town with dirt roads, deer, peace and quiet. Living the life I dreamed of.
I dont care for it, sorry. The exhaust, the graphics, the interior, all just a little much for me, I can appericate the work done, love the twin turbos for sure, just not much for the loudness of the colors.
