I sold my '78 Silver Ann. edition in 1983 because my wife was going to have a baby and I could not justify keeping my toy. Well, I now have a 21 year old daughter and last fall purchased a 1981 C3. My new toy needed some work and finally, after several months of waiting, my wife and I removed the T-tops for the first time last weekend and went for a Sunday afternoon cruise. Four blocks from home, I spotted an approaching newer Vette. I said "let's just see" and sure enough, THE WAVE...YEA! It's great that after so many years, and so much change, some good things remain. What a great feeling.
