A Corvette Tale
She quietly awaits in the darkness of her room,
occasionally a light and a pass of a broom.
It's silent and lonely, winters rest proves good,
as she cherishes the waxing of her body and hood.
Her tires are cleaned and wheels aligned,
interior is spotless, boy how she shines.
The engine is tuned, her gauges are true,
as she acquires a longing for spring to break through.
Once more her key turned, sweet sounds to our ears
her beauty is stellar, her engine we'll hear.
And so as we sit behind the wheels of our Vettes,
