A/C Panel & Steering Box

Since last Feb. I have replaced my A/C Panel six (6) yes 6 times because the a/c slide breaks. Now that it winter, not that there is much winter in FL., the heat slide has just broken. This cause's warm air to come in with cool air from the a/c. All the parts comes from Eckler's, Eckler's imports them from China. Eckler's says there is no other source to buy from. I must say Ecklers has been fair, they gave me $300.00 and a gift card for another hundred to defray some of (about half) the costs of labor. Does anyone know of any other place that I might order these from. I don't blame Eckler's but I have become very frustrated with getting bad parts. Also I am having to replace the steering box for the third time in three weeks. These suckers cost over $400.00, also from Eckler's, Labor cost $120.00 each time. These problems are taking a lot of the enjoyment out of owning a Vette. Slap me, what did I say, I love my Vette. Gene
