Vette(s): 1982CE,32,000 and counting. (fast!!) 1981 Vette, black on black. ZZ4 (quick!!)
I'm not sure of the spelling but did GM ever use Seimens brake parts on the Corvette?In my case an 82CE.Thanks.

Not that I'm aware of...GM owns Delco Moraine and that's what they used. Sieman's could be an aftermarket manufacturer for replacement parts or sometimes, GM would find a second source for parts as a hedge against strikes at the prime supplier. They did that with the Quadrajet...many Q-jets were made by Carter just for that possibility.

Thats what I'm thinking.Mine has that system and it is original to the car.I needed a new master cyc. and twice the supplier sent the wrong part to my shop.After digging a little deeper we find that a few were made with the siemans parts but nobody knows why.Anyway that was our guess.Thanks
