Can someone tell me how many 1978 Pace Cars
were built with the L82/M21 engine/tranny combo. My reference book
states 200 built but some of the Pace Car websites say 600. I seem to
recall 200 is correct. Thanks in advance.

How about the Silver Anniversary? They show any numbers on that? Or educated guesses at least?

Does the reference book talk about color combo's, I have the classic white with the Red Interior. I have read and seen advertised this is a rare combo.
If so how and or where do I get the book?

The Corvette Black Book should have all the #'s in it.
Mines too old, I believe the first version from 1978 and doesn't have all the #'s from 78.

The Black Book gives all the numbers- options, colors, interiors, but not combinations such as # of white cars with red interior or L82's with 4 speeds. At least as of my 2004 copy they don't.
A great book to have. Full of all kinds of useful information starting with the '53. You can find them pretty cheap online or ebay if you don't care about having the current '06 or'07 models in there.
