O
Man, I got to see a couple of pacers at the museum this weekend. They are definitely one of my favorite vettes. I would love to have one!!!!
Supposedly, there is a guy east of OKC that has a couple of them that were trailered from the dealer to his place and have never moved.
I just couldn't have a car that I didn't drive.

There are lots of clones out there as well. It was the thing to do for a while and the parts were easy to get.

if i remember correctly barrett- jackson had one at their auction last
year that was in the same ballpark with the mileage. guy bought it and
stored it. don't remember all the specifics of it but it only sold for
60,000. told the wife she was lucky i wasn't their as i would have
probably sold the house for it. just can't tell what price
something will go for.
I think there are some better deals out there. Keep searching Ebay. I've always liked the Pace Cars and Anniversary Cars with red interior.
Good luck in your search.
Now this is a man with good taste. Thank you, my friend.

That would be really hard, the Pace Cars were limited to one (1) per dealership in 78.
Susposedly people were offer as much as 75k for one and couldn't get one. A few dealerships tried to back out of purchase agreements for a higher price, all the dealerships that did were sued and all lost the fight with the Pacer going to the original buyer.
The Pace Car was the first Corvette to come out with its own sequential VIN#. The 8th and 9th digit should be 90, this identifies the vette as a true Pacer. All the Pacers were numbered 0001 - 6502. Don't even try to find 0001, 0002, 0003, 0004. Al Unser (the winner of the race always gets one of the original Pace Cars) has one of those in his muesum in New Mexico, theres one in the Indy Muesum, and the other two I can't find. Even the NCM doesn't have one of those originals, they have Reggie Jacksons Pace Car.
The 78 Pace Car has always been my true favorite Corvette also
