I'm proud to say that the girls picked my Vette for second place tonight.
Our club does a cruise-in there once a year and the girls choose 3 winners. This year they picked a 1960 vert for first, a 2002 vert for second and a 1971 for third. They couldn't find the 2002 owner, so they picked mine for second. Hey, I'll take it. It's all for fun anyway.
That's me in the middle. Yes, I'm smiling, but you can see both of my hands.
This is the Vette that should have won first. It is a sweet '73.
This one is my twin. Belongs to the club treasurer and it is perfect.
See, the girls judge Vettes like they pick horses at the races; they know what they like and nothing else matters.

[QUOTE=dwright]The guy with the silver Z06 had it at the drags last Friday. Had a 12.74 sec quarter. His buddy with a C5 Z06 wants him to try with some slicks to get it under 12.

They just play too much. They should both race each other.

Congrats on your 2nd place finish. It doesn't matter how you won, it's that you won and was able to get in between 2 hotties. Lucky dog you.......
On a simular note, I went to a car show at Lost Valley Lake Resort last Sunday. They had 69 vehicles there in all the different classes. So there wasn't but a few in each class. I took second place in the Corvette class. There was a red 64 vert with side pipes that got 1st place. I didn't expect to get anything because of the rear bumper. I was impressed by the comments the announcer had that both looked extremely good. Everyone walked out with a trophy.
