can anyone tell me if the vent pull in this photo is correct????

Not sure...I think the ones on my '74 are smooth, but then I've never really paid all that much attention to them, either....

I put up a better picture of the pull knob.

Nice job on the upholstery job, Ben!!Clap
I still don't know about the vent knob...it kinda looks like a door lock knob, don't it? I'll look at my '74 this evening and see what they look like. Of course, they prolly won't be the same as the '69 anyway, but now. I'm curious.

Thanks on the upholestry..  my first attempt.. 
 
I had the same thought on the vent pull and that is why i am suspiciious.
 
anyone with a 69 that can compare vent pulls?

im going to try to get the other seat torn down and primed this evening.  then one more day for painting and that should leave me recovering the drivers seat thursday night.  I do need to order a few things...  the pot metal chrome piece on the drivers door is junk.  And I still dont know how to sew the headrest covers on so I may get those done at an uphosterly shop.

Ya...the pulls on my '74 are smooth as a baby's' bo-bo. Completely smooth, rounded edges, no circles on the end. They also appear to be a little longer than what a door lock knob would be. I didn't measure, but they looked to be about 2 1/2-3" long.
I can't believe no-one with a '69 has chimed in yet....Stern Smile

me too...   but in the interim here is yet another small update.
 
 
 and I updated my project costs and put it into a new format that should be viewable by more people
