Hey Guys,  I just came into posession of a 1981 GM Corvette Shop Manual. Doesn't look like it's ever been in the hands of a mechanic, just a little outside surface wear from sliding around. I have no use for it since I have a '71. I would however, like to have a 1971 GM Manual. After thumbing through this one, I realized how much more information is in a GM manual compared to an aftermarket one. Anyway, anyone have a '71 manual to trade for this '81? If not, I wouldn't mind buying one and selling this one for the same, or....if someone really needs this one and can't afford to buy one right now, let me know, we'll work something out.   Dwain longhorn29438551.7047569444

This ebay auction is for an 81 shop repair manual, but might not be the one you are looking for.

Thanks but I am looking for the GM Shop Manual like this one on E-Bay, but for a '71. Original 1982 GM Corvette Shop Manual # ST-364-82. That one is exactly like the one I have except it is for a '81.

You can likely get your '71 shop manual from www.helminc.com for just under a hunnert well-spent bucks. A buddy of mine has an '81, tell me how much you want for your manual and I'll let him know about it. The guy is so tight that every time he blinks, his navel wiggles........

Thanks Dave, I'll check it out. Hopefully I can find a used one. I'll let you know about the '81 when I find a '71 and see what it cost me. It won't be too much anyway. Is your friend a c3vr member? Thanks, Dwain

Naw.... This guy is an old dinosaur who wouldn't know a keyboard from a keychain. He did stumble on a great deal on a real nice '81 after looking for years. Color is a little boring, vanilla beige with a burnt orange interior, but real nice and clean for 5 grand.
