Does anyone know of any good cd tuners that will fit the standard 78 centre console, without having to hack away the holes for the shafts on the original ?

theres no cd players that have the shaft style you can only get tape players. i just kept my origninal radio in and put a after market cd player in the rear compartments behind the passengers seat. they sell cd players with remotes so that makes it easier and they sound alot better

Or you can do what I'm probably gonna do. Buy a replacement console insert and pick which one you're gonna butcher. Make a good template first!
