Joel,
The spare had a 15" tire mounted on it. I measured the bead width and it is 7" opposed to the other 4 which are 8". I will skip sandblasting the spare and order a replacement 8 X 15. I see Ecklers sells both 7 X 15 and 8 X 15.
I found this car rotting away in New Englands harsh environment about 4 years ago. She needed nearly everything. She suffered from inexperienced mechanics, bondo and neglect!! I'm trying to give her new life. I am keeping her mainly original, with a only few modifications. She'll never win a "Top Flight", but to me she's priceless!!
Thanks,
Mel

Wow Mel! It's great to hear of the rescue of another C3. Sadly many were used and abused over the years. Good luck with the resto!
The '68 Vettes had 7" rims. If it is a original, GM ralley rim, it is worth some $$ to a '68 owner, as they are really scarce these days!! Check the date, by the valve stem hole, and the code, to verify.
The stamping to the left of the stem is K1-5 10.
The stamping to the right of the stem is 27 either P or F(hard read), W.
Perhaps I have a bargin for a 68 owner!!
Can't find anything on these codes, not sure what they mean??
Thanks,
Mel

1 = Chevrolet
5 = year
10 = Oct
27 = 27th day of Oct.
The '68 wheel should have an "AG" stamp to the right of the valve stem.
Looks like you have a '75 rim, for something other than a 'Vette. Most likely a Camaro, Chevelle, or something. They did not have the ralley wheels in '65, so it has to be '75.

I found out the "FW" stamped wheel was supplied with the 1975 Chevelle and Monte Carlo if they had the Rally Wheel option.
Mystery solved. I ordered a replacement 8 X 15 from Ecklers today. I dropped the other 4 freshly painted wheels of at the body shop this morning. Sure hope the car is painted by the end of the week. May have to take pre-PF vacation to get her all back together in time
!!
Thanks to all!!!
