Today in my local bargain trader paper I saw a listing for a 1970 lt1 conv. for $6900.oo. I figured it was too good to be true or a misprint. I called about it and was told that the car was missing the engine and someone had put those square headlights on it. The body is supposed to be in good to fair shape, transmission is in it, m21 he thinks, if anyone is interested his name is Larry Hales and his phone # is910-531-3911, the car is located about 1 hr from Raleigh NC, I have not seen it, only going on what I was told, But if this is correct sounds like a good project car,The guy said he had a 66 vert he was working on and could not do 2 projects at once,,Maybe worth a look, RD

A '70 LT-1 vert!!?? Damn shame someone cut it up sometime back in the past. Sounds like a flogging is in order for whomever did that to a prime hunk of Corvette history.

Can't argue with the price, but an LT-1 without the LT-1 is not an LT-1.

Sad
when Vetts get treated that way. Wish I had the time and room in the motor stable. I would like a crack at her bring her back to what she was in her glory. Hope she finds a home, thanks.
