Vette(s): 1970 stingray, t-top, mulsanne blue with black interior, 406 ci with 444 hp, racing suspension, hooker headers/sidepipes - SOLD :(
Anyone got a sound clip or video of a 70 idling and running? I'm wondering how it'll sound compared to my straightpiped 77, if I straightpipe the 70.

Mike

My old Stingray...sure do miss it:

well one 350 straight piped is going to sound like another 350 straight piped regardless of year..

there may be some difference based on cam and heads.. but stock to stock theyll sound roughly the same

Vette(s): had a really nice one. sold it to a good friend. Purchased 2004 custom coupe in Feb. 2009 did not tell anyone here until August 2009. BAD I KNOW.
I can't help you with the video, cuz I ain't that knowledgable, but I do have a '70 LT-1 with under the car chambered pipes that are the most awesome sounding pipes, lots of good things said about the sound that they produce, best money I have spend, besides the vette it self. just my .02 |wavey|

McSpeed has a video of their 69 with sidepipes. If it's not what you want, it's still pretty cool. Check it out:

I just emailed you one. I sent it through a different email account. The file was too big and I never sent one this way, so let me know if it went through OK.

I sent it to the one listed on the forum. It is too big of a file, it did not go thru. Sorry.
