You aren't going to leave it like that, are you?   I'm just messing with you Dave........this is old pipefitter talk........after someone did a GREAT job, you ask him that question........it drives the poor guy crazy, because he begins to think somethings wrong! Being a perfectionist can drive people crazy! Thanks for sharing your new PRIDE and JOY!

Lookin' Good Dave!

That'll be two new motors in Hot Springs.  I just love the sound of the sidepipes with a motor thats workin' well.  There is no other sound like it!

Nice Dave, we're all very excited for you bro. I've got some upgrades to do myself, on both the '81 (silver, that sat in the parking lot during the last gathering), and the Rootbeer car. hope to get 'em done before the next west coast gathering. We'd love to hear how she ran when you return from HS. Thumbs%20Up aceinthehole2008-03-23 19:42:01

Great news Dave!  Just curious, what turned out to be the problem with the sidepipe alignment?

I think he was just looking for excuses, after they were all bolted up everything looks OK. When I reved the engine it hardly moved and there was no noises so I think it will be just fine. The clamp bolt that squeezes the side pipe onto the collector rubs against the rocker panel. Don't know what to do about that?

you may have to  make a notch in the panel for the connector bolt.
