Does anyone out there have the rear wheel bearing and seal numbers?
Not the GM Part#, but the actual numbers stamped on the bearings (cup and cone) and on the seals? I'm going to try and buy them from my bearing supplier at work.
Mine just gave out after the last ride....I have a '73 coupe auto.
THANKS!

If your local supplier has a Timken book he will be able to get the numbers of bearings and seals without any problems. I did mine last month here in Australia for my 71 coupe and had no problem getting the correct items. All they need is the year and that it's a Vette.

Try to get a set from Pep-Boys ( or NAPA ), then get the Nums. off of them, and send them back to P-Boys !! I got mine for my '74 from Pep-Boys about 2 yrs ago, and have had no problems with them. I don't think they were Timkins, but they may have been. I've slept once or twice since then !!!
