What is the correct location for the temp sender on a 72 350?

I'll have to check the timing when it warms up enough to fire the engine....still hibernating in our below freezing fall.
Thanks,

Also, are there any seals around the radiator to core support or something other than the shroud?
Thanks,
Dave

Hi,
Looks like you have got the correct advice and for what it's worth my base engine '72 350 has the temp sender on the drivers side cylinder head although I notice that there is a plug in the right side head in the same location...not sure what that's for.!!!
I had my original engine fully re-built about 300 miles ago and it still runs nice and cool, about 150+[also run a 180 degree thermostat and had the radiator removed and cleaned out]

With a 160 degree thermostat there is definitely something not doing its job, especially with the outside ambient temp at 50. All of the seals around the radiator and shroud will help some as will the chin spoiler. With a new radiator I'm going to assume the hoses are either new or in good shape. What shape is the water pump in? Swapping in a high flow pump would help the circulation rate some.
