can anyone tell me the measurement from block valley to the carb flange where air cleaner sit on edelbrock vortec heads/ inlet???
also anyone run a dropped base aircleaner,will that help with clearance under standard hood???

Go to Edelbrock's website. They give directions on how to make measurements.
A drop base air cleaner should help give clearance. A lot depends on how much vertical height an air filter you're using.
