Vette(s): 1978 Silver Anniversary... Almost all original/correct L48 auto,59k miles, oyster.
Did the 1978 originally come with black head covers and a corvette logo or another color? Did the color depend on which engine the car had?

Vette(s): 1969 convertible L71 427/435 4-speed black interior
The standard L48 engine came with engine color stamped valve covers. The optional L82 engine came with either aluminum or magnesium (I've read both, don't know which is accurate) valve covers that were black except for natural metal lengthwise ribs on them.
