Vette(s): 1976 L48 RoadDemon carb, Weiand intake, 3:36 gears, DUALS.
Over the past few weeks I've posted some messages regarding the problem I was having with the engine stalling. The first thing I thought of was a bad distributor so I had that rebuilt. Then I thought the problem was vapor lok. |headscratch| Neither one of these was the cause of the stalling. A new fuel pump was purchased and I had my mechanic install it. The fuel line was checked also and it was found to be mushy. So, after the engine gets hot, the fuel line gets even softer, causing it to collapse and starving the carb of gas. |eek| Now I have a new fuel pump and a new fuel line... no more stallilng |thumb|
