Once in a while I have to adjust my TV Cable on my '82 CE. Why is this, too much pedal mash? What problems can occur from this, other than just shifting way too darn soon? Could this be a sign of anything other than a slightly worn TV Cable hold-down mechanism?

(thing is, I don't have Cable, I have a satalite dish, is this the problem?) |laugh|

The cable is probably weak growing longer. That means it will likely break in the future. You may want to consider replacing it. It won't hurt anything, even if it breaks. It will just shift early, or if it breaks and sticks, it could affect shift at any point, but no damage.
