I am now too darn fat and stiff to do w/o t&t steering. Most units I have found are 750,00 or more. Will any other columns fit my 72? Camero, Firebird Chevy II, Etc

I've seen good used ones at swap meets for around $250.
I believe the 70-76(Vette) colummns were all the same, as far as fit/function, whether T/T or standard.

I have a 76 with the T/T which is a little different from those before and after. You can't find aftermarket steering wheels that will fit the 76 T/T. For some reason GM made a change in 76 and then another change in 77. You can convert the steering column to be like the earlier or later columns by changes about 8 or 9 parts.
