Vette(s): 1973 coupe Under Construction

I started stripping everything off of my 73 frame yesterdat and ran into some trouble removeing the trailing arms.  The driver's side came off fine but the bolt in the passenger's side broke off and is now stuck.  Does anyone have any suggestions for removing it?  There is a bad picture on my web site towards the bottome of the page.

One word....SAWZALL!!!

Get a good metal cutting blade, and cut the bolt.

You might have to cut both sides, depending on how much junk is stuck in there, but the sawzall is the favorite tool to remove the pivot bolt.

Good Luck.

Frame doesn't look bad a all. Use a sawsall to cut the bolt.

Another one to join the Sawzall club. An amazing tool.

Other favorites of mine are:

The Dremel (I've burned 4 out allready in my restoration of the vette.

And don't forget the ever-popular BFH.

Good Job.
