Currently shopping for rotors and I came across this :

80$ for the whole set?  My first thought was "can't be...".

Then I looked at the number of sales and feedback; quite impressive.  Then I went through 30 pages of feedback to find all the negative comments.  I finally ended up on a buyer of the same product (65-96 Corvette rotors; so I don't know what year the buyer actually have) who left a comment and said that he had to drill holes for the parking brakes.

I asked that buyer a few questions by email and I'll see I get an answer.  In the meantime; what do you guy's think; is it too cheap to be good?  Is it made in China?

It says that the runout is near zero; what the heck does this mean?  1 is near zero.  So is 150 based on a 20000 scale? (But that would be a darn crooked rotor...).  What is "near"; is it within the .03 specs?

I am not cheap on important stuff but I won't let a good deal pass.  What do you guys think?

I can certainly see why you might be tempted. Now I am too. They sure know how to talk the talk and their references seem good. Paying more for something doesn't always guaranty we'll get better stuff. I'm going to watch this one too. Here's hoping some one will be familiar with the company.

I don`t have "much" more info about those rotors on ebay, but the guy did reply.

He said (and I quote) : "I bought 2 front rotors and 2 rear rotors. Only 1 rotor for the rear was drilled for the parking brake. Otherwise everything was ok. Before you buy, you can ask them to be sure they send you 2 front and 2 rear. They sent me 3 front and 2 rear. good Luck. The rotors worked well otherwise.
"

So, here we are.  The guy sounds happy with the product (and sure didn't pay much for it) but we still don't know the brand and origin (is it China stuff?).

From my perspective, I bough mine last week from a parts store in Canada for the same price as in the US, but without the 115$ shipping it would cost to cross the border!  I'm happy with my new Raybestos rotors at 55$ each. Although I haven't tried 'em yet...
