Tires, Wheels

Ok, I know there is like 50 threads on this subject, and I have read like all of them. I am still confused, and my situation is a bit dif. I know a lot of people have dif tastes, and brand loyalty. However: the BFG radial TA's are only rated up to 112MPH, I think I want something a bit more higher rating. I don’t also want to pay a heft price tag. I also don’t know the width of the rim. I wanted to go 18" wheels on my Vette, if I'm going all out on this car (which I am) I want to do something awesome. 17" in the front 18" in the rear? What size tire? What Brand? What Model? What size? I was thinking of a 10" to a 10.5" width I rally like those Z06 motor sport wheels, Corvette central had them for C3's. But after 2 weeks they suddenly dropped from the catalog. I asked why, and they sad: "The manufacture said they would fit, and customers complained and said they did not" I was so pissed! Is there any other wheel that’s closer looking? If not; better?
