I'M LOOKING TO REPLACE MY SHOCKS ON MY 1970 CORVETTE. I WOULD LIKE TO FIND SOME ORIGINALS IF POSSIBLE. IF NOT SOME THAT WOULD PASS NCRS JUDGING. I WOULD ALSO LIKE TO PUT REPRO TIRES BACK ON THE VEHICLE. DOES ANYONE HAVE ANY SUGGESTIONS REGARDING EITHER. I UNDERSTAND KELSEY TIRES IS ONE OF THE REPRO'S...ARE THEY GOOD QUALITY OR WHO HAS GOOD QUALITY? ANY IDEAS??? DROOP

I've never used Kelsey but have purchased from Diamondback and Coker. I've no complaints from either and cost is nearly identical.
For shocks you can buy Delco unless you want really high performance stuff. I have Delco on my '69 (installed by a previous owner), and again I have no complaints. They're able to handle anything I want out of the car.

For Judging purposes replacing the original shocks with DELCO branded, non-gas shocks will get you the minimum deduction if you paint them the correct, grey color. Anything else will pretty much get you a major deduct.
Same with tires. Anything other than what was originally available for the car would result in large deducts, whereas a Goodyear, or Firestone brand would be less of a deduct, depending on how much different they look, and how far off the sizes are from original. Repop tires, work fairly well in Judging, but will still get some minor deducts.

Or, click on the "Format" dropdown, and click on the "H1" heading...that will work as well.

You can also just hold down the control key and hit the "+" or "-" key to make the print bigger or smaller.
