I have what appears to be a stock 350-L48, standard trans in my 73 corvette, what should the timing be set at, and at what RPM. I have seen anywhere from 8 to 12 degrees.

Thanks,
Rick

From maintenance book:
1973

190hp-12deg.-900rpm w/manual, 600rpm w/auto, 450rpm w/idle solenoid disconnected.

250hp-8deg.-900rpm w/manual, 700rpm w/auto and A.I.R., 450 w/idle solenoid disconnected.

270hp-10deg.-900rpm w/manual, 600rpm w/auto, 450rpm w/idle solenoid disconnected.

Hop this helps. |cheers|
