Most likely the U-joints, check for looseness and also look to see if there are rust stains around the joints.

Well so far its been a "liuve with it" kind of deal.
Its 90 degrees out and driving the dang thing is just better than working on it right now.
When I do get-r-done I will let you-all know what it was.
But thanks for all the insight.

Had a ticking sound from my right rear that I could only hear when turning ..not extremely loud and it drove mne absolutely crazy for a long time...
Turned out to be the spring from the emergency brake ..it had rusted and
would swing and hit against the wheel as I turned...it was not loud so when I was driving over 10 mph I could not hear it... cheap fix..STAINLESS STEEL SPRING ..3 bucks..

Low miles (was only 8,900 when I bought it in March 2006) - Now 54K miles. Original owner bought it as an investment for son's college expenses.

If I did have studs I could have made "dumbest thread of all time".
At least top 10.

Is there a thread out there with the top ten dumbest threads? I'd like to see that (although chances are I already have...)
I wanted a Corvette my whole life, but I never dreamed of all the wonderful people I would meet because of it!
