Hey Paul,
Glad it turned out so well for you! I'm looking forward to the video.

Kevin
P.S. I know you're gonna go for new paint. What's on there now? Is that a factory color?

Vette(s): 1979, Targa Blue (72 Color), Pace Car rear spoiler, L88 hood, Dark blue factory interior, 525HP 406, HD 700R4, 370 gears,Steeroids, composite rear spring, TT IIs wrapped in T/A Radials.
Ebo - thanks. The neighbors tolerate me as I have helped every dang one of them with something at some point and I have never gone to them for anything (they did look after my family while I was deployed to Iraq tho...
) I don'y think you'll have issues with the floor. I just cleaned mine for the first time in 18 months after the car was finally mobile again.

Dave, glad the header mystery was resolved. How is she running with the timing turned back a bit?
Rod, the heads are Brodix Track1's. Big valves and runners. This thing really breathes!!

Kevin, not a factory color. Going to go for 1972 Targa Blue with a "motion-esque" white stripe.

Tux, John, Terry, Larry - thanks!!

Checking on the video now...
Stay tuned (no pun intended)

Paul

I changed out the passenger side gasket today but can't get the rear bolt in. The car did run better on the way home, can't wait to run it without exhaust leaks! I will try again on Tuesday to get that bolt in.

Thanks Dave. I think the link is now working. Glad things worked out with timing and headers

O
Dave;
You probably have already thought about this, but you might try pulling the motor mount bolt out, putting a block of wood under the starter and gently raising the passenger side up a tad. It will give you a better angle on the last bolt.
Oh yeah, don't forget the expletives and the wrench throwing, it helps a bunch!
Good Luck!
