Wasn't sure what forum to post this in, and hope it's not a stupid question ...but...what does one do with the old tach cable after converting to electronic? Don't want to leave it connected and don't want to leave an open port where the cable connects to the distributor either. Suggestions?

Vette(s): 1972 conv, 4-speed, 350, 200hp, numbers match, rally wheels, war bonnett yellow w/white top. good condition, nice driver.
To make it look original, just cut it off out of site, and leave it there. won't collect any grunge from the road in distributer, and won't be dangling down in back of the engine, or inside the passenger compartment. Stick the stub in the firewall hole to stop drafts and bugs at speed.🐛😉 See ya in Pittsburg.
