T in Production Code on Manual Transmission?

The production code stamped on the side of the manual transmission in my '71 LS5 Coupe shows P08(but maybe it was a B?)20AT. So I think it's a wide ratio dated Feb, 20th of 1970? But what does the T on the end stand for? It's not in my Richard Prince restoration guide book. The A should be the last letter.

Classic White/Saddle
You got it:
P - Muncie
0 - 1970
B - February
20 - 20th
A - wide ratio 4-speed
"T" was probably just some production line wise-a$$ named "Tim" who slapped that on there so that we would all be scratching our heads 30 years later trying to decipher something that shouldn't exist.
That's all I know for that one.

Hey, munk. Clarify that mark a little for me. Is that "T" immediately next to the "A"? Or is there a gap between the two? And is it the same size and scriptfont as the other letters? My thinking here is that it could be a workshift ID mark or a "universal" mold mark.
Just a shot in the dark.

Car's in the shop getting some fluids changed. I'll check closer when I get it back. But I think it was the same size font and no gap after the A. It was right after the A, I think.
