Mike, I need to do mine also.  I haven't done any checking yet on prices to have 'em rebuilt yet.  How much you figure you saved by doing them yourself?

I was going to buy a pr. from a man in south Florida who I met at a NCRS show.He wanted $275.00 each,no rotors included,and the workmanship looked great. I spent for both arms right at $150.00,races,bearings,shoes and a few brake spring pcs.

I did mine a few years ago. It wasn't that bad to do, just take your time. One tool you will need is a dial indicator to measure end play (axial movement). suncountry2008-09-20 13:32:07

Mike;

Congrats!!

I sure hope you took lots of pix cause it sounds to me like you are writing the Fall Technical Tips for Shark Bytes!!!!

You can PM it to me or email it.  I'll be more than happy to include it!!!Rolling%20On%20The%20Floor%20LaughingRolling%20On%20The%20Floor%20LaughingRolling%20On%20The%20Floor%20Laughing

I am serious.  I'd love for that to be a tech article.  It will also find it's way into the tips and tricks tab after the SB article.

Thanks,
