I noticed this weekend that my tie rod ends are in the front set of holes. I'm wondering if I switch them to the rear set of holes to make steering a little easier since mine is a non-power steering car, will this affect my current alignment. Rebuilding the front suspension and steering is on the horizon, but this could help some for now.

One set of holes is used if you have power steering, the other set is used if you don't. I can't remember off the top of my head which ones are which, I believe its spelled out in the AIM.

The front holes are for power steering...they also allow for a faster turning ratio. The rearmost holes are for manual steering, as they give more leverage...
You will need to have the toe set after moving them.
