Oddly enough, I have everything that someone would need to convert an '82 from carbureted back to cross fire !! I wonder if this stuff will ever be like the old C1/C2 fuel injection units. Back in the day lots of people took their FI units off and replaced with carbs, now the FI stuff is big $$$. Don't think it will happen with cross fire stuff, but you never know. Give me a 4bbl carb and a 4 speed, no computer crap - not eighties computer crap anyway !! Also remember when the '84 came out, good friend of mine got one of the first, I wanted one sooooo bad !! After about six months he told me to hold off cuz he said the cross fire was only a short time offering. I did what he said and waited till '86 to buy a tune port car. Great car, fun to drive. Thought I had gone to Corvette heaven !! So FFWD 30 years and I'm back to playing with points, plugs and an old Rochester, go figure !!
