Had what you’re asking done back in 2012.Part of the project was a complete front suspension rebuild. Replaced the following:tie rods, pitman arm, ball joints, upper/lower support arm bushings, sway bar links & frame attachment bushings, rag joint, steering box (close ratio), power steering control valve, power steering cylinder & lines. All bushings are poly, not rubber.Had the entire rear (everything) done at same time plus shocks, brakes, wheels, tires, etc.Went with OEM design instead of the rack & pinion systems or coil-overs, stuff like that.Wanted to keep it stock appearing but with all heavy-duty upgraded parts.Entire suspension was set up for mountain driving especially Dragon’s Tail. It’s now 2026 & I’ve only had to replace shocks twice (I’m a bit hard on them at times), brake pad/rotors twice & tires once. All other suspension components (inspected everytime before heading to the twisties) are still fine.Poly bushings make a huge difference to the life of the suspension. As far as part suppliers go, I always went with the main corvette suppliers (Eklers, Mid-America, Corvette Central), Did price comparisons and ordered parts accordingly.Good luck with your project.I know there are newer whiz-bang upgrades out there but for what you’re intending, in my opinion a refreshed OEM-style system will work just fine.It hasn’t failed me yet.
