Have a question. Will a 454 starter fit a 350 in a 77 model without any problems. I hear it will start faster and lengthen battery life.

Have you thought about a new high torque starter. That is what I got for my '73 (soon to be installed).

That's probably my best way to go, since I only heard this from one guy. There are times when the car has been driven awhile, it turns over slow. But other times, it can be driven a lot and it does fine. But it never fails to start. Thanks for the info. I think I'll go for the High Torque.

I agree. The High Torque is the way to go.
