I have my transmission out and trying to figure out what my stall is for the converter. The only number I see on the converter is 11541. Does anyone know of a web site I can go to, to I.D. this converter, or does anyone know what it is. My tranny is a turbo 400 w/shift kit. Any help would be great. Thanks.

I guess my first question to you would be "Is the torque converter GM, B&M, TCI"? From there it should not be to hard to figure out what you have.

Hey Jim,
How can I tell if it's a GM or not? I was told it was probably a GM but not to sure.

Is there any other marking at all? How about color? I checked the CD I have of GM Microfiche and the first three number match up. Call your local Chevy Dealer parts dep. and have them check 11541.

Jim,
Thanks. I will bring it to a Chevy Dealer. The color is black.
